Up-comming weekend I’m going to Assen, the Netherlands. During the Formido midzomerraces (midsummerraces)(Formido is a DIY store) the Ford Mustang GT-4 will race and the historic cars that Tachyon Motorsport supports.
I will be doing the data logging for the modern GT-4 Mustang and the mechanics of the 1965 Ford Mustang. Thiemo another (now) ex-trainee of Tachyon will assist me with the historic Mustang. Thiemo is one of the team members who is involved in the GT-4 project his main task tyres and wheels. Laurens is in charge of all the mechanics. With the 3 of us we keep the car running with Maarten Buitenhuis as the team manager.
Besides the 2 mustangs other historic cars will compete in this event. I think the following cars will run this weekend.
- Ford Falcon
- Morgan +4
- Marcos 1800GT
