Maybe the loyal visitors where already looking for the post after the Pinksterraces and finally it is here. Last week I was busy with my final project at CPM and didn’t gave myself the time to write something.

The Pinksterraces started good but ended wit ha disappoint third race. Qualifying went pretty well for both of the drivers. Michiel Campagne managed to driver faster then he did before and Allard Kalff just missed the pole by a small mistake. The top 13 cars are all in the same second so a small mistake puts u on the 5th place on the grid.

Michiel started the race really well and managed to overtake a few cars. After that we had problems with the fuel pressure which made it difficult to hold this position. He finished the race but unfortunately in last position.

Allard had a good race he started and finished in 5thplace. He had a difficult time at the start because the Ford Mustang does not have the traction from stand still that the Porsche’s have. After the start he had a good race and a nice fight with Jeroen Bleekemolen in the Chevrolet Corvette. Both of them where going side by side in the Tarzan corner which was a beautiful sight. Jeroen and Allard where racing close but Allard couldn’t keep him behind him. Jeroen managed to take a victory while starting from the last position which is a remarkable performance.

In race 3 which is the 50 min race with a compulsory driver change started in the worst possible way. During the rolling start Allard had some contact with another car which destroyed the left rear tire and rim. Allard reached the pit lane and the 2 mechanics changed the wheel as quick as possible. Allard rejoined the race 1 lap after the race leader. We wanted to continue the race to see how the car behaves in a 50 min race. We wanted to do this because during the first race of the season we could not compete because we had a broken drive shaft. After a few laps the car slowed down again. A fuel pressure problem again which we will solve for the next race in Assen on the 5th of July.
