Sunshine all over the place here in Zandvoort, The Netherlands. Tachyon brought 2 cars to this event and both are running fine. Both the drivers keep improving there lap-times over and over again.
Karen Campagne even managed to drive 2 seconds faster then she did in the qualifying session. Nico Zonneveld wanted to drive a 2.12 like had did a few times last year. But on the Friday session he already managed to pull a 2.10. In today’s race which only had 4 or 5 official fast laps he managed to drive a 2.09. The lack of fast laps was due to a strange situation at the start and after 2 laps after the start a BMW crashed pretty hard at the end of the long straight. He left a big trace of oil on the straight which made it difficult to overtake on the straight.
Tomorrow there will be another race for the National Championship for Historic Touring cars and GT’s.
