Thursday it was time to head to france for the trophées historiques de bourgogne. This is the last race of the dutch historic race championship. It was a nice route that took us to the track near Dijon. The last 20 km’s where a bit difficult for the three big size trucks but all the drivers managed to get there safely.
On Friday there was no free practise that gave the tachyon crew enough time to set up the entire camp.
Saturday the free practise started really early and that made it impossible to drive due to the fog. 30 min later it was finally clear enough to drive.
This weekend I worked on the yellow corvette of Michiel Campagne. Michiel complained that the gearbox had problems with the second gear. We decided to leave it like this till after the qualifying session that afternoon.
That night I took out the gearbox together with ronald and he made one good gearbox out of the two we took with us. Everything went well and we finished before the BBQ ended.
Two races where planned for Sunday without much time in between. Michiel had no problems winning the first race and the car feld ok to win the second one as well. Michiel made a plan with some other drivers to give a Little show by staying together till the last five laps. Then the jaguar e type was a little bit ahead but Michiel managed to go to first position again.
Everybody started packing all the trucks again and Sunday and Monday we will be driving home.
Tuesday it was time to test the new car that tachyon is going to run next year. Michiel Campagne is going to drive a new Ford Mustang FR500C GT4 together with Allard Kalff.

The goal of this test was to decide which tyres are better Michelin or Pirelli. We gave our recommendation to the organisation and they will choose one brand for the hole season.
Maarten asked me to check out the data logging on the car. With some help of erik (data logging specialist) I managed to get some information out of the system.

Before the season starts I need to fix all the sensors so we can work with reliable data. This will help improving of the lap times and the set-up of the car.
Next year the car is going to drive the dutch GT4 championship.
